Cycling Expeditions

We primarily use small country roads, forestry tracks and bridleways for our cycling expeditions.

Adventure Residentials offers DofE Expeditions by cycle at Silver and Gold level and will design a programme of cycle training and expeditions specifically for your DofE group, at locations convenient to your school.

Our programmes include training sessions covering: riding skills, road safety, cycle maintenance and the essential packing and navigation skills required for a safe and rewarding cycling expedition. Journeys by bike offer a unique opportunity to travel through idyllic scenery, visiting small villages off the usual beaten track.

​Cost & Payment

To make life easier all cycle training and expeditions cost £60 per person per day if you provide your own bike. An additional fee will be added for bike hire if you do not have your own bike. The cost of this will vary depending on where the bikes are hired.
