DofE Expeditions
At Adventure Residentials there is no such thing as a standard expedition. We will design a DofE programme especially for your school.
Just tell us what you need, the numbers in your group and if you have any preference on the area or activities your group would like to undertake.
We offer a flexible support package to help plan, organise and deliver the Expedition Section of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels. We deliberately keep things small, only working with a limited number of schools, and the best Trainers to ensure the highest quality DofE provision.
Dates for open expeditions are shown below

First Aid
First Aid is an important tool in quickly responding to accidents to ensure that injuries can be efficiently and promptly dealt with before a trained medical professional arrives to administer more specialised treatment.
Whether it’s a minor injury or something more serious like a fracture, preventing further complications is paramount.
When it comes to more serious injuries, first aid provides an essential role in keeping a casualty from getting worse and helps to stabilise their condition before professional help can arrive.
Aside from the practical medical applications, all UK workplaces have a legal obligation to ensure that they have adequate health and safety measures under the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974.

3-Day First Aid at Work Course
Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work
1 day course
Where an organisation’s risk assessment of First Aid identifies that there is a requirement for Emergency First Aid at Work practitioners, then this national Award in Emergency First Aid at Work satisfies the requirements of the regulatory body for First Aid – the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
Level 3 First Aid at Work
3 day course
It is a requirement of the Health & Safety law that employers provide a safe and healthy environment to work in. If your assessment of first aid needs highlights the need for qualified first aiders, then this level 3 qualification (level 6 in Scotland) will provide you with suitable, highly trained personnel.
